We are changing our customer web acess and adding a login and splash page. I am looking for examples of the splash page content (e.g. download only from trusted sources, no porn, ...). If you use a splash page and are willing to share the verbage, please post a comment or email me directly ([email protected]).

Do any of you use On Demand Tank-less Water Heaters in any of your stores? We are currently considering installing one in our off-site kitchen. The kitchen uses about 400 gallons of hot water per day and I am wondering if it’ll meet our expectations. The plumber assures us that it’ll work but I wanted to get any input I can before we move forward with this project.

Our Board has chosen to send in a letter to the FDA opposing the new FSMA rules - there isn't much time left to comment (the deadline is tomorrow!) but I'd like to encourage everyone who hasn't and has time to rally up to send one in. The Cornucopia Institute has a proxy letter available, and I've attached the one our Board wrote and anyone is welcome to use it as a template if it is helpful!

We're thinking ahead about sometime replacing our plastic bulk liquid dispensers with something that could be more attractive and more functional. However, just because it looks good doesn't mean they perform in "food co-op floor conditions." Read more »

Fiddleheads Food Co-op in New London, Connecticut is divesting itself of an overabundance of bulk bins. Yours for the taking (almost*): 20 Trade Fixtures Series 500 gravity bins, 15 old-style Radeus scoop bins, and 10 generic acrylic coffee bins (complete with a few coffee beans in each one!!) Come and get them.
* actual cost is 1 pound of your co-op's best-selling bulk product, for the whole bunch of them.
