Montgomery Norton is a new resident of the Central Coast. He recently moved to Paso Robles in June 2012 from Napa, CA, where he worked as a Wine Tour Guide and Program Coordinator for the nonprofit Thrive Napa Valley. Montgomery has been involved in food system development in Napa, Orange County, and now San Luis Obispo (SLO) County. Montgomery has a MA degree in Urban & Regional Planning with a specialization in Sustainability Policy and a BA in Social Ecology and Education. He is the developer and founder of many businesses and organizations, including the Orange County Sustainability Collaborative, the CA Student Sustainability Coalition, Thrive Napa Valley, E3 EarthWear, Ecofficiency, the UC Responsible Investment Coalition, and others. Montgomery brings his skills of collaborative & cooperative development, as well as community & regional planning, systems-thinking, sustainability, and stakeholder facilitation.
