Flatbush Food Co-op is seeking an experienced, hard-working, detail oriented person to fill the position of Prepared Foods/Deli Manager. This position will be responsible for all aspects of operations for the Prepared Foods/Cheese departments and Juice Bar within our co-op. Responsibilities include menu planning, oversight of food preparation and financial performance, supervision of all department staff and ensuring excellent customer service. We offer a wide range of items including traditional, vegetarian and gluten free dishes.
Required qualifications include: Experience managing a restaurant or deli, familiarity with natural foods and special dietary choices, excellent communications skills and demonstrated ability to handle multiple demands. A minimum of two years management experience, BA degree or other relevant experience required.
