Construction Project Manager
The Fresh Market currently has an opening for a Construction Project Manager to be based at our Corporate Office in Greensboro, North Carolina. Our Construction Project Managers are responsible for managing complex store construction projects that he/she is assigned to. Coordination of general contractor and refrigeration contractor activities, communications with the management team, management of schedule and budget are key areas of responsibility for this position. The Construction Project Manager is responsible for coordinating construction and setup activities with a variety of departments within The Fresh Market. The Construction Project Manager will be expected to demonstrate a high level of integrity with our employees and vendors. Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills are required in the management of standardized department processes and procedures. The Construction Project Manager leads by example and works to produce high quality finished products.
Our construction projects require tender loving care and an exceptional aptitude for attention to detail. To be considered for this position, a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Construction, Construction Management, Architectural Construction Administration, or other related discipline is required. A minimum of four years of relevant experience as a project manager or Owner’s construction representative is required for you to be considered as a candidate. Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, multi-tasking skills, time management skills, and leadership skills are required. Computer proficiency in MS Office, Adobe, & MS Project is required. Familiarity with AutoCad would be a plus. The ability to travel up to 60% of the time is required.
