Supplier Programs Manager
National Cooperative Grocers Association (NCGA) is accepting applications for the full-time position of Supplier Programs Manager. NCGA's Supplier Programs Manager develops and manages national and regional purchasing programs, with a focus on Fresh foods sold in retail grocery (i.e., produce, deli, meat/seafood).
The preferred candidate will have significant previous experience in developing and managing supplier relationships, including contract development, negotiations and budget management; progressively responsible experience in retail and/or wholesale purchasing of Fresh foods; strong Outlook, Excel, Word, written communication, listening/speaking and interpersonal skills; a willingness to travel frequently; and a strong commitment to customer service and the success of values-driven community owned food co-ops as well as a passion for fresh and local food systems. This position will be located in NCGA’s office in St. Paul, Minnesota.
