Communications & Outreach Department Manager Three Rivers Market, Knoxville, Tennessee Three Rivers Market is the anchor store of a revitalized Downtown North district in Knoxville, TN with four distinct seasons, abundant entertainment, and a very low cost of living. We are one hour from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in the Southern Appalachian region of the U.S.   Founded in 1981, our co-op has 4500+ Member-Owners with annual sales of $5 million and a terrific staff of 40+ employees.  We purchased and developed property in a former food desert, moving about ¼ mile from our old store into our new one in 2011.   Three Rivers Market is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Communications & Outreach Department Manager to develop the department and oversee promotion of the cooperative and its business, internal and external communication of our values, principles, and product standards, and outreach to our community.  The ability to create and implement plans from first creative idea through implementation, prioritize tasks effectively, and bring about great results from ordinary circumstances and limited resources is essential.    The successful candidate for this position will have at least a bachelor’s degree and 10 years of work experience including at least 5 years of meaningful experience with program development and implementation and/or business planning and processes, as well as supervisory experience.  Candidates need good computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications, basic graphic design, web content management, electronic newsletter, social media and other electronic formats.      This is a full time, Level 5 position that serves on the Management team. Salary is dependent upon experience.
