DELI, MEAT, & CHEESE MANAGER To select, purchase, price and promote products and to ensure adequate receiving and stocking of meat, cheese, bread, baked goods, and soup/salad bar department items to meet objectives for sales, margin, inventory turns, labor and customer service. To plan grab and go deli menu to meet financial objectives and prepare fresh sandwiches daily. Other duties as directed. Duties include: • Negotiating with suppliers and purchasing deli department items following product selection guidelines. • Stocking, merchandising, & ensuring product freshness in: deli, meat, cheese, and bread/baked-goods. • Promoting local products & supporting the co-op’s product selection. • Providing systems & direction to deli department staff. • Providing a welcoming environment, excellent customer service, and prompt, accurate check out for our owners and community members.
