I'm not liking performance reviews. I'd be interested to hear from anyone out there that isn't doing annual performance evaluations and how that process works (or doesn't work) for you. Giving raises that aren't attached to performance is also appealing me. Reviewing a year's worth of an individual's performance seems like an unproductive use of time, especially if issues are addressed when they happen. Kudos and praise should always be happening in "real" time, too! Any suggestions or thoughts from those out there who are much more versed and capable in HR management?
