The Alternative Food Co-op is currently the only retail food co-op in Rhode Island. We are also one of the first co-ops in the US starting in 1970. The co-ops an all organic produce selection with local produce available whenever posssible. The co-op also has a wide selection of organic bulk grains and herbs as well as beauty products and more. Come in for a great selection of natural foods, bulks, organic vegetarian take-out foods, local gift items, botanical body care, vitamins, supplements and homeopathics and much more.
